North American Championships Nashville 2011

Congratulations to Niamh O'Brien who won her third North American Championship last week in Nashville. Niamh won the U16 competition. Congratulations also goes to Ronan O'Brien who won his first North American Championship in the U8 age group. Ronan was the only competitor to take a perfect score of 900 at the championships. Congratulations also goes to Megan O'Brien who also placed in the U15 age group at the championships.

A Special Congratulations

Anthony Costello, the principal teacher and founder of the Costello School of Dancing has been appointed an examiner with the Irish Dancing Commision. Anthony has joined the select group who examine candidates for their Teachers' and Adjudicators' examination. Anthony was one of the 8 successful candidates at the exams which were held last June and was delighted to be successful at same out of the 97 who applied for these examination.

Munster Championships 2010

Congratulation to Ronan, Leah and Niamh on winning their chapionships at the Munsters'. Ronan took his second title in a row, Leah took her forth and Niamh took her fifth consecutuve title at the championships which were held in November in Ennis. Congratulations also go to all our World Championship Qualifiers and all those who took part at the recent championships. See some of our prize winners in our Album section

All Scotland Championships 2010
	All Scotland Championships 2010 Congratulaions to Niamh and Ronan on winning their championships in Scotland, and to all the other pupils who did extemely well at the Championships in general. See some of our prize winners photos' in the Album section

All Ireland Championships 2010
	Congratulations to Niamh O'Brien on winning the under 15 girls championship at the All Ireland Championships in Killarney. Niamh is now the 24th  All Irfeland Champion to be trained at the Costello School of irish Dancing.
